Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CDM Coordinator/Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered safely and compliant with regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Principal Designer/Principal Contractor in fulfilling their duties under CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Collaborate with design teams to plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate the pre-construction and construction phases of projects to identify, eliminate, or control significant and foreseeable risks.
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical Health and Safety advice, guidance, and coaching to project teams throughout all stages of the project.
  • Assist in compiling and developing training materials and other management tools.
  • Support the preparation of fee proposals with project managers and discipline leads.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH or other recognised Health and Safety qualification.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of health and safety within construction and civil engineering.
  • Experience or knowledge of highways, landscape, flood, and water management, and urban design structures would be ideal.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE.
