We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Care Director to lead and develop our paediatric team at Worthing Hospital. As a key member of our Children's Directorate, you will be responsible for driving improvement and providing assurance to clinical and management teams.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Children's Ambulatory Care team, ensuring high-quality patient-focused care is delivered.
- Act as an expertly skilled clinical nurse, leader, and role model, providing direct quality patient care.
- Utilize expert clinical judgement, decision making, and skills in relation to the assessment and management of children within the service.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure the delivery of high-quality service provision.
- Maintain and support the efficient use of physical and/or financial resources.
Essential
- NMC registration
- Experience in managing beds and patient flow
- Substantial Paediatric Experience
- EPLS / APLS

- Leadership/Management Course
- PNA
- Phlebotomy skills
- Physical Assessment
- Evidence of Teaching and Assessing
