About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our Purchasing Team at NMS Infrastructure Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Purchasing team, ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team, including answering phone calls, booking meeting rooms, and managing the Purchasing Inbox.
  • Manage low-level buying activities, including raising Purchase Orders to suppliers and seeking PO authority.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure accurate payments and reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain online documents and central repositories.
  • Act as a single point of contact for query resolution from the Accounts Department.
  • Perform other general ad-hoc office duties as required.
Requirements
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a procurement or purchasing role.
  • Excellent numeracy and Excel skills, with experience in Sage 200 an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Logical and common-sense approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

The role is based in our offices at Eckland Business Lodge, Market Harborough, with ample free parking on site. Hours of work are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.00 am to 2.00 pm on Friday. 25 days' holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
