About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our Purchasing Team at NMS Infrastructure Ltd. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Purchasing team, ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Purchasing team, including answering phone calls, booking meeting rooms, and managing the Purchasing Inbox.
  • Manage low-level buying activities, including raising purchase orders to suppliers, managing office supplies and equipment, and seeking PO authority.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure accurate payments and reconciliations of Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of supplier details, including payment terms and contact information.
  • Provide excellent communication and collaboration skills to develop effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Requirements
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a procurement or purchasing environment.
  • Excellent numeracy and Excel skills, with experience in Sage 200 an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure as an effective member of the team.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
