Job Title: Asbestos Laboratory Analyst

Location: Midlands

Salary/Benefits: Competitive within the industry and great training opportunities

Our Client is a well-respected, UKAS Accredited Asbestos and Environmental outfit, seeking a meticulous and hardworking Asbestos Laboratory Analyst for their Midlands location. You will be travelling to the laboratory on a daily basis, so will need to be based within a commutable distance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Completing bulk analysis of samples, identifying Asbestos Containing Material
  2. Using PLM and Stereo Light Microscopy methods to conduct analysis
  3. Receiving and booking in samples
  4. Organising servicing of laboratory equipment
  5. Participating in AIMS and quality assurance checks

Requirements:

  1. Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification
  2. Will have experience working within a UKAS Accredited Asbestos Laboratory
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Proficient with IT applications and software
  5. Efficient and organised manner
