Asbestos Surveyor - 3-Month Contract - £25.00 per Hour

About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Asbestos Survey Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and programming of asbestos surveys for council-owned non-domestic buildings. Your primary duties will include conducting re-inspections and providing expert advice and guidance on all asbestos-related matters to clients and surveyors.
Key Responsibilities:

Asbestos Re-Inspections: Manage and conduct a programme of asbestos re-inspections on council and external client non-domestic properties in accordance with current regulations, including taking samples where necessary.Documentation: Produce accurate, clear, and concise documentation relating to buildings’ asbestos records and sample locations.Material and Priority Scoring: Carry out material scores, liaise with customers to produce priority scores, and present and discuss reports.Project Management: Arrange and project managing specialist consultants carrying out Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys.Follow-Up Works: Manage follow-on works from asbestos surveys, ensuring the successful removal or encapsulation of asbestos in various projects, in compliance with HSE guidance, including raising orders.Emergency Response: Respond to and manage any emergency situations related to asbestos, coordinating remedial works as necessary.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in asbestos management and surveying.Strong knowledge of current asbestos regulations and HSE guidance.Excellent project management and documentation skills.The ability to provide expert advice and guidance on asbestos-related matters.
