About the Role

As a Project Implementation Manager - Regulatory Change Expert at BNY Mellon, you will play a critical role in delivering and leading regulatory change implementations that impact our regulated entities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Change Implementation: Deliver and lead regulatory change implementations that impact BNY Investments: Distribution's regulated entities (UK ACD, Luxembourg Management companies and funds).
  • Project Management: Support and partner with project delivery team members to maximize efficiency in key tasks, such as capturing, prioritizing, resourcing, and delivering regulatory and business strategic projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with stakeholders to consider regulatory changes, industry guidance, and regulatory publication updates, coordinating gap analyses and recommendations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Apply governance and oversight frameworks to understand regulatory obligations, mitigate regulatory risks, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Project manage the implementation of regulatory and business change, defining scope, resources, and expected business outcomes, along with detailed project plans, associated governance, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
  • Investment Management Experience: Investment management experience, preferably including delivering change within investment management (UCITS and AIF structures and UK, Luxembourg management companies).
  • Regulatory Change Implementation: Experience and comfort with enhanced process and rigor needed for regulatory change implementations, a track record of supporting complex change programs across a global organization.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organization, time, and project management skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills, demonstrated by an ability to credibly liaise with senior management and develop good working relationships with peer group colleagues.
  • Regulatory Change Project Management: Proven experience delivering regulatory change projects in a project management capacity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) to accurately translate across the business.
  • Adaptability and Emotional Intelligence: Willingness and flexibility to meet tight deadlines and a high level of emotional intelligence to create deliverables that deliver a joined voice of all partners.
