Audit to Private Equity Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:
Investor Transactions:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to support investor subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure sufficient cash is available when and where required.
- Coordinate with Revantage Luxembourg and Asset Management teams to monitor cash available for distribution to support the Funds' distribution policies.
Debt Management and Reporting:
- Support internal and external reporting of financial information for external debt in the Funds (including bonds, revolving credit facilities, secured and unsecured facilities).
- Monitor debt facilities.
- Forecast and report covenants to lenders.
Cash Management:
- Monitor the Funds' cash and liquidity needs to support effective working capital management.
- Maximize interest income through effective use of treasury instruments/deposits.
Financial Statements:
- Support the preparation of BEPIF and BPPEH financial statements.
- Assist in the project management of external audits.
Valuations:
- Work closely with the Valuation team to ensure timely and accurate debt and fund financial information is included in the Funds' NAV.
Automation:
- Identify and implement operational improvements to existing processes.
- Drive the implementation of technology initiatives.
Oversight and Review:
- Oversight and review of various activities, including cash movements, interest and debt repayments, and distributions process at deal level.
- Develop management experience by overseeing and reviewing activities performed by Revantage Luxembourg and growing the use of the Centre of Excellence team in India.
Qualifications:
- Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group.
- Highly motivated, intelligent, and sound judgment are essential.
- Demonstrated excellence in all prior endeavors is required.
Requirements:
- Degree and ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification).
- 2+ years post-qualification experience in an accounting/finance role (either in industry or in an audit capacity).
- Prior experience in real estate and/or asset management sectors is a significant advantage.
- Excellent Excel skills, including experience of building analysis from large/unstructured data.
- Confidence to build relationships and be a key contact point for a range of senior stakeholders.
- Confident and inquisitive mindset that seeks to fully understand, be accountable for, and improve delivery of responsibilities.
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, strong time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to take on additional projects or support others in the department outside their direct responsibilities.
