Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: Birmingham

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social care professional to join our team as a CERS Service Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Carers Emergency Response Service, providing emergency support to carers during times of crisis. Our service is designed to provide peace of mind and an emergency response that is free for those caring for a dependent family member.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a high-quality domiciliary care service, ensuring the needs of citizens are met while maintaining their dignity and independence.
  • Maintain consistency and quality within the service, adhering to our organisational policies and procedures at all times.
  • Oversee staff recruitment and selection, ensuring the right candidates are appointed to provide excellent care and support.
  • Develop and implement plans to sustain excellence across the CERS service, involving citizens in service development and evaluation.
  • Represent the organisation on relevant partnership forums, promoting our values and objectives.
  • Comply with guidance on protecting vulnerable adults and children, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and clients.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with significant experience in social care management, ideally within the voluntary sector. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. A strong understanding of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and Ofsted requirements is also essential.
