About the Role

Lane Clark & Peacock is seeking a highly skilled Energy Consultant to join our Consulting team. As an Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, delivering reports, and engaging with clients to provide expert advice on low carbon energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research using various methods, including desk-based research, face-to-face discussions, and telephone interviews
  • Delivering high-quality reports and engaging content to clients
  • Managing consultancy projects, including multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working across a broad range of new energy topics, including market analysis, propositions, and strategy
  • Communicating with clients through reports, presentations, email, webinars, or phone calls
  • Building relationships with industry contacts and clients, and contributing to the development of the business
  • Working in project teams to deliver client projects

About the Team

LCP Delta's Consulting team provides services to a range of clients, including network companies, energy suppliers, policy makers, manufacturers, technology companies, and investors. Our consultancy work covers market analysis, propositions, strategy, energy demand forecasting, and supporting clients in making effective strategic decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant work experience, ideally in low carbon energy consultancy
  • Relevant energy expertise, including knowledge of energy networks, energy storage, flexibility, low carbon heat, and integration of distributed resources
  • A willingness to develop and broaden your energy expertise
  • Evidence of your ability in research methods, including desk-based research, face-to-face discussions, and telephone interviews
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and organisational skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented working skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a workload involving multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to develop relationships with new industry contacts and clients, and to understand their needs
