About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Consultant to join our UK Impact Assessment department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating statutory EIA and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental baseline data collection strategies, interpret data, and provide expert advice on environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients, providing exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Produce high-quality reports, peer review, and coordinate spatial data management, including figure preparation.
  • Support and lead key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery, collaborating with Project Directors and team members.
  • Develop advisory skills in preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations, and participate in public consultation processes.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree in an environmental discipline is advantageous. Prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, particularly in the energy sector, is highly desirable.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment. You will also be committed to ongoing learning and development, with a strong desire to grow with the company.
