Regional Facilities Manager

Are you a seasoned facilities manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for leading teams and driving excellence in store operations? We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Manager to join our team and take on a key role in maintaining our retail stores across Greater London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planned and reactive maintenance of 80 stores across the region, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard.
- Directly manage a Facilities Assistant, responsible for their appraisals and day-to-day management.
- Manage subcontractors, meeting with them regularly to monitor SLAs and KPIs.
- Present monthly reports to directors, providing data on store spend, maintenance budgets, and any issues or escalations.
- Manage a budget of approximately £7m per year, ensuring that all costs are optimized and controlled.
- Liaise with Operations on reactive maintenance requests and act as an expert on all matters related to facilities management.
- Review and authorize work orders and proposals.
- Supervise the repair and maintenance of all stores within the region.
- Ensure consistency in the delivery of planned maintenance.
- Create and distribute Requests for Proposals to minimize costs of large-scale work.
- Manage the agreed budget for repair and maintenance of stores within the region and report results regionally and nationally.
- Implement the National Maintenance Strategy.
- Analyze and report on data from the CAFM system, taking action as necessary.
- Provide training to Operations on facilities management.
- Be responsible for the recording and management of technical systems in the CAFM system.
- Authorize the payment of invoices up to the determined limit.
- Act as a direct leader to the Facilities Assistant, in line with the principles of the Management System.
Requirements:
- FM experience in supermarket retail or food retail.
- Proven experience with CAFM systems.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven experience of dealing with escalations/complaints and providing solutions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint.
