Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiac and Maternal Medicine

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical fellowship at St Michael's Hospital, University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in cardiac and maternal medicine.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month fixed term post, but may be extendable by mutual agreement and on satisfactory performance. The post-holder will work within the Obstetrics Department, under the supervision of the Maternal Medicine/Cardiac Pregnancy Team.
Key Responsibilities- Attend weekly local and regional cardiac obstetric/maternal medicine MDT meetings and cardiac obstetric/maternal medicine antenatal clinics.
- Attend teaching ward rounds (maternal medicine and cardiac).
- Contribute to inpatient care of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care of women with medical conditions and cardiac disease.
- Contribute to pre-pregnancy counselling of women with cardiac and medical problems.
