Cardiac Pregnancy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiac and Maternal Medicine. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to develop their expertise in this specialist area and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe post-holder will work within the Obstetrics Department at St Michael's Hospital, University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with cardiac and maternal medicine conditions, as well as contributing to the teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with cardiac and maternal medicine conditions
- Contribute to the teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Attend weekly local and regional cardiac obstetric/maternal medicine MDT meetings and cardiac obstetric/maternal medicine antenatal clinics
- Contribute to inpatient care of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care of women with medical conditions and cardiac disease
- Contribute to pre-pregnancy counselling of women with cardiac and medical problems
