Chief Engineer and Technical Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Engineer and Technical Superintendent to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our offshore support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
The Role:- Oversee the maintenance and repair of shipboard mechanical, electrical, and navigational systems.
- Monitor and review vessel condition via electronic Engine Room Log sheets.
- Collaborate with the Special Projects/Docking function to ensure timely completion of dry dock specifications and related orders.
- Manage and update Planned Maintenance, Purchasing, and Defect Reporting systems.
- Engage with senior ship officers to address and resolve performance issues.
- Sea-going Chief Engineer or equivalent with relevant offshore support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, naval architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in offshore vessel management, with a strong understanding of maritime legislation, SOLAS, IMO, Class & Flag regulations.
