We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of market risk across our clients' commodity trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of commodity trading concepts, including pricing, exposure, profit and loss, and risk reporting.
  • Collaborate with trading companies and banks to identify and mitigate market risk.
  • Design and implement advanced risk metrics, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), stress testing, and scenario analysis.
  • Provide expert advice on derivatives trading and risk management strategies.
  • Develop and refine functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders across the commodity trading function.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a market risk role, preferably in trading companies or banks.
  • Strong knowledge of derivatives trading and risk management principles.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
