Market Risk Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Business Analyst to join our team at Alexander Mann Solutions (Contingent). As a key member of our Contingent Workforce Solutions, you will work closely with our clients to provide professional interim and temporary resources.
About the RoleThis is a 6-month contract based in London, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of two days in the office. As a Market Risk Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing one of two key workstreams, analyzing and optimizing risk controls and trading scenarios, and negotiating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive business requirements documents covering all risks, issues, and requirements related to trading and market issues.
- Collaborate on a bespoke project to leverage your trading and markets expertise.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to review the bank's processes and ensure satisfaction with existing deals.
- Engage with traders to understand and document their requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform data analysis to support project objectives, ensuring effective communication and quick thinking to gather and interpret information.
- Apply process mapping techniques to streamline project workflows.
- Experience working in Market Risk Trading in a banking environment.
- Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in market risk, with a focus on trading environments and risk control.
- Experience in influencing system development and handling complex projects involving both proof of concept and existing systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including traders, compliance officers, and regulatory bodies.
This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model. AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.
