Sales and Commercial Development Role

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as a commercial development manager.

As a commercial development manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive new sales and grow our existing customer base.

You will build relationships with new clients, analyze their needs, and develop proposals to meet these needs.

Maintenance and development of relationships with existing clients are critical for this role.

In addition, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating sales forecasts, and managing pipelines and accounts using sales CRM.

You will report to the Sales and Estimating manager and be accountable for achieving sales targets.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum based on experience plus performance-based bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with new clients and create proposals to meet their needs.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Create sales forecasts.
  • Pipeline and account management.
  • Report to the Sales and Estimating manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to sell ideas, products, and services.
  • Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability.
  • Strategic and creative mind.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions.
  • Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications.
  • Ability to motivate themselves and others.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, Friday, 08.00 - 16.00

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Flexible – Home or Office.
