About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Learning: Assist in the delivery of tailored lessons, providing 1:1 or small group support to meet individual student needs.
  • Foster Development: Create a positive and inclusive environment, focusing on students' social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside teachers, parents, and colleagues to develop and implement EHCPs and track student progress.
  • Engage and Inspire: Use creative approaches to engage students, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with SEN or disabilities.
  • Full-time availability preferred.
  • Experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Access to your own vehicle and a valid driving licence.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour and navigating difficult situations.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives.
