In Technology Group is recruiting an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Oxford. As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations and resolving complex technical issues.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for customer service to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2nd line technical support, troubleshooting various hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal performance and uptime of client systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Escalated Support: Provide 2nd line technical support, resolving escalated tickets from the 1st line support team.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve various technical issues, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems.
  • System Monitoring: Proactively monitor client systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Installations & Configurations: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have experience working as a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer and possess excellent problem-solving skills, customer service skills, and communication skills. You should also have a basic understanding of hardware and software technologies, including networking and cloud-based systems.

Salary: £38,000 - 42,000 per annum
