Job Title: Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, social, and emotional care and development of the children and young people in our care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents during nighttime hours. This will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment, engaging in activities with the children, and maintaining accurate records of their care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents during nighttime hours
  • Engage in activities with residents to promote their physical, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any concerns to management
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
