Job Title: Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, social, and emotional care and development of the children and young people in our care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents during nighttime hours. This will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment, engaging in activities with the children, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents during nighttime hours
  • Engage in activities with children to promote social and emotional development
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and out-of-hours services
  • Report any concerns or incidents to management
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
