Game Development Leader - Star Wars

At NaturalMotion, we're passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences that captivate audiences worldwide. As a Game Development Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Star Wars: Hunters game, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices.

Our Production team is dedicated to delivering high-quality games that exceed player expectations. As a leader, you'll be responsible for guiding a team of producers to ensure the successful launch and ongoing support of our live product. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of game development, balancing priorities across multiple crafts and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with peers to establish and maintain production and live service goals
  • Develop organizational structures, processes, and project plans to support quality live services
  • Tackle complex risks and problems while balancing priorities
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to drive results and outcomes
  • Articulate team goals and principles to foster a stimulating work environment
  • Identify and address potential hazards in the game development process
  • Help define and communicate standard processes across the team
  • Navigate the live cycle of game development
  • Build and strengthen communication between teams and locations
  • Foster a positive company culture

Requirements:

  • Experience leading multi-discipline teams through game development, with at least 2 shipped games as Production Lead or equivalent
  • Experience running production on a live game
  • Knowledge of game development processes and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools, including Jira
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
