About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team at Chart Industries. As a key member of our electrical and control department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for electrical and control projects within our screw compressor division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, select, and verify electrical and control components for projects and products
  • Plan and coordinate contract electrical and control design activities to meet project deadlines
  • Specify, select, and verify major components for electrical and control systems
  • Create and control hardware and software designs for projects and products
  • Develop and maintain instructions for manufacture, assembly, and test
  • Conduct factory and site testing and commissioning, including demonstration of control systems to clients
  • Review and advise on corrective actions for manufacture, assembly, and test issues
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, commercial, and procurement teams to drive improved manufacturing and supply chain performance
  • Ensure adherence to company environmental, health, and safety standards
Requirements
  • HNC in electrical/control engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in a relevant engineering role
  • Experience of process instrumentation specification and selection
  • Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound commercial awareness
