Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems and equipment, including complex electrical and engineering systems.
  • Assist with the training and education of apprentices and adult trainees, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and experience to meet the needs of their training program.
  • Work with managers to identify and set up training programs, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and procedures, ensuring that our facilities and equipment are safe and efficient.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with a bias towards electrical systems. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
