The People Co. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transport laws and regulations, performing shift handovers and driver debriefs, and assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure schedule, cost, safety, and quality goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Evaluate operational performance by completing OEE, shift handover meetings, engineering projects, and 1:1s.
* Ensure required documentation (compliance, environmental, safety, and financial) are completed and transacted correctly.
* Understand company and site-specific policies, procedures, and other documentation. Provide leadership and commitment in support of continuing improvements in quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
* Coordinate resources to ensure holidays are covered and that the overtime budget is controlled.
* Effectively schedule and deliver planned maintenance for the mill and vehicle fleet.
* Develop and implement SWPs and SOPs as part of the continuous site and people development.
* Review complaints to understand the root cause and share learnings.
* Ensure that all UFAS, environmental, H&S, and NWF site compliance standards are always maintained and adhered to.

Requirements:

* Experience as a Production/Operations Manager within food or agriculture.
* A background in motivating people to create a high-performance culture.
* A proven background in achieving H&S/compliance audit scores.
