Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver site-specific strategies in accordance with statutory and mandatory drivers and in line with the Royal Free London Hospital Wider Estates & Facilities strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency in the delivery of estates and facilities management services, contributing to the Trust's financial efficiency and quality improvement programmes.
  • Provide operational leadership for the Hard & Soft FM service level agreement at the Royal Free London Hospital, ensuring continuous improvement and excellent staff engagement.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
  • Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering, facilities management, or equivalent. And/or equivalent experience.
  • Chartered Membership of an appropriate institution in engineering, facilities management, surveying, building, or equivalent.
  • Significant and relevant estates or facilities operational management at senior level in both the public and private sector.
  • Wide technical knowledge, including legislation.
  • Management of operational estates and facilities budgets.
  • Planning and delivery of cost improvements.
  • Development and implementation of multiyear asset management plans inclusive of modernisation and PPM related aspects.
