About the Role
Royal Free London Property Services Ltd is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of estates, facilities, property, and capital support services at the Royal Free London Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations, driving service improvements aligned with the Trust's corporate vision.
- Foster a cultural shift that enhances patient experience.
- Develop and deliver site-specific strategies in accordance with statutory and mandatory drivers.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency in the delivery of estates and facilities management services.
- Provide operational leadership for the Hard & Soft FM service level agreement at the Royal Free London Hospital.

Requirements
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
- Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering, facilities management, or equivalent.
- Significant and relevant estates or facilities operational management at senior level in both the public and private sector.
- Wide technical knowledge, including legislation.
- Management of operational estates and facilities budgets.
- Planning and delivery of cost improvements.
- Development and implementation of multiyear asset management plans inclusive of modernisation and PPM related aspects.
Skills and Aptitudes
- Demonstration in the ability to make difficult decisions at senior management level.
- Implementation of Estates and facilities services strategy and action plans.
- Managing a large and multidisciplinary team in a related setting.
- Modernisation and change management with ability to evidence.
- Achievement of operational management objectives that delivers high performance and quality outcomes that are measurable.
- Polished presentation skills.
- Ability to maximise the use available department resources in the achievement of set objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Project management experience.
