Senior Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist in Canterbury. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Work alongside another full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist.
Person Specification:
- CCT or equivalent.
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders under children including neurodevelopment disorders.
- Extensive knowledge of the biological, psychological, and social determinants of mental health disorders and evidence-based management interventions.
