Community Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Child and Adolescent Team in Canterbury. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and young people with mental health needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with young people and their families, and liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota, with a 3% on-call supplement
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
- Work alongside another full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist and Specialty Doctor
Requirements
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
