Ward Manager Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ward Manager to work in a leading mental health centre. As a key member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with experience in acute adult services and a proven ability to lead and manage a team. They will be responsible for developing therapeutic relationships with patients, contributing to patient assessments, and monitoring patient progress.
The ideal candidate will have a post-registration qualification of at least 3 years, with experience in a supervisory role and a recognised mentoring certificate. They will also have the ability to assess and teach junior staff, as well as a proven ability to co-ordinate care, prioritise tasks, and manage Health & Safety issues.
The successful Ward Manager will receive a competitive salary of £45,668 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including a £5,000 welcome bonus, 25 days' annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
