We seek a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support the administration and monitoring of contracts for exciting projects within the energy sector, from inception to completion. This will involve:

  • Managing contracts from pre-contract support (e.g., tender evaluation) to post-contract support;
  • Operating with NEC forms of contract, including Option A, B, C, and E, as well as bespoke forms of contract;

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management, preferably in the Nuclear/Civil engineering/Engineering sectors. They will also have a broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost, and Commercial Management – ideally both pre- and post-contract. Holding an HNC, HND, or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, Construction Law, or a similar/relevant discipline is essential. However, applicants with an alternative background (e.g., Engineering) may be considered if they have significant on-the-job experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management;
  • A broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost, and Commercial Management;
  • An HNC, HND, or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, Construction Law, or a similar/relevant discipline;
