Environment Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environment Lawyer to join our market-leading Environment Practice at Pinsent Masons. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic environmental advice to clients and drafting and negotiating contracts in this area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert regulatory advice to clients on environmental matters, including remediation liability, nuclear regulation, water licensing, waste management, and environmental permitting.
- Support our corporate, restructuring, property, projects, and finance teams on transactional environmental issues, including contaminated land liability, asbestos management, and permit transfer.
- Assist clients with regulatory investigations, respond to civil penalty notices, and advise on civil sanction enforcement powers employed by regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow our Environment Practice and increase revenue.
- Work closely with our leading consenting lawyers and other specialists to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- 7+ years of experience in environmental law, with a strong focus on regulatory advice and transactional work.
- Excellent academic background and a strong understanding of environmental law and regulations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proven business development skills, with a track record of growing revenue and expanding client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
