About the Role:

The Senior Design Manager will be an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team, working closely with the Regional Operations Director to ensure the successful delivery of Engineering projects.

This will require the development of a strong interface with the regional operations team, clients, external design consultants, and design delivery managers to deliver measurable programme and project level success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the region's Service Level Agreement, deliverables, and overall design brief.
  • Ensure adequate resources, systems, processes, and controls are in place to deliver project success.
  • Develop and implement digital technologies and advanced applications within construction projects.
  • Manage and coordinate engineering activities across all project phases.

About You:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Design Manager with a strong background in civil or PMEICA engineering, preferably with a good understanding of all engineering disciplines associated with design and delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Civil or PMEICA engineering background with a good understanding of all engineering disciplines.
  • Design and/or project management experience in the water industry.
  • Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in planning, progress measurement, and change management of engineering activities.
  • Experience in implementing digital technologies and advanced applications within construction projects.
