Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Design Team: Lead and manage a team of designers to ensure the design process aligns with project requirements.
  • Development and Implementation of Design Proposals: Develop and implement design proposals that meet project requirements and ensure designs are fit for purpose.
  • Engagement with Commercial and Operational Teams: Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to ensure design deliverables meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Quality Management: Ensure design quality meets company standards and project requirements.
  • Design Deliverables Programming: Manage design deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and meet project requirements.
  • Meetings Facilitation: Facilitate design team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Sustainability Management: Ensure design solutions meet sustainability requirements and company standards.
  • Document Control and Resource Management: Manage design documentation and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tier 1 main contractor background or larger regional contractor background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills.
