At Polaris Community, we are committed to providing exceptional support to foster parents and ensuring that children and young people receive the best possible care. As a Children's Social Work Commissioning Lead, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct support to foster parents within a realistic caseload, enabling them to deliver high-quality care to children and young people. You will also be required to work in partnership with children, young people, and foster parents to promote full participation in assessment, planning, review, and decision-making relating to safeguarding and child protection.
To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and publications. Previous experience of working as a Supervising Social Worker is advantageous, but not essential.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, plus benefits including a car allowance of £3,000 and 30 days' annual leave (increasing to 35 days with length of service).
