Job Summary
Furniture Village is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage new starter documents, including contracts of employment and right to work documents.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of new starters, leavers, and changes to employee records.
- Issue letters confirming changes in employees' terms and conditions.
- Manage employee files and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service to colleagues, responding to their queries and concerns.
- Conduct new starter calls and exit interviews to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties to support the wider HR team.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of the generalist employee lifecycle with great attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Systems (Word & Excel) and HR and payroll systems.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
