  • Develop, implement, and monitor risk management and internal control frameworks to ensure the organization's risk management strategies are effective and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement to ensure the organization's internal controls are robust and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures, and to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential risks and control gaps, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancements.
  • Prepare and present risk and control reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Support the development and delivery of risk awareness training programs to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in risk management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in risk management, internal controls, or a related field, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate risk and control information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
