Job Description:
Bell Contracts & Co Ltd is looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to support their finance team in Cookstown. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of key tasks, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts.

Main Duties:
  • Verify invoices against delivery notes and orders.
  • Process invoices through our accounting system.
  • Reconcile creditor statements at the end of each month.
  • Prepare payment runs for suppliers.
  • Process journals for nominal ledgers.
  • Reconcile ledger balances and control accounts.
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment or query of invoices.

Essential Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 12 months' experience in an accounts role, with a strong understanding of Sage 50 accounting software. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
