Assistant Store Manager in Training

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager in Training to join our team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including leading a team of sales assistants and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the management of the store, including leading a team of sales assistants and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of sales assistants.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and customer service strategies.
- Monitor and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock.
- Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a retail management role.
- Proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
