Role Overview

The Operational Resilience Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and enhancing the Firm's operational stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation Support: Assist in the execution of Operational Resilience and DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) mandates to guarantee adherence to industry regulations.
  • Criticality Assessments: Conduct evaluations of service and function importance, providing strategic guidance during annual review cycles.
  • Solution Design: Aid in the creation and deployment of innovative solutions, including automation of assessments and workflows, integrating them into the current technological ecosystem.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various business units to ensure compliance with Operational Resilience and DORA standards.
  • Policy Contribution: Engage in the development of EU and Global policies and procedures to establish a robust internal governance and control framework.
  • Scenario Testing Support: Collaborate across business, operations, and technology to facilitate scenario testing, document outcomes, and monitor remediation efforts.
  • Governance Structure Support: Assist in maintaining the existing governance framework by preparing comprehensive reports and meeting minutes.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Operational Resilience or Business Continuity Management within the Financial Services sector or consultancy.
  • Proficiency in managing regulatory compliance initiatives and analyzing regulatory documentation.
  • Familiarity with EU DORA or Operational Resilience initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of process design and internal controls.
  • Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience with automated workflow tools and solutions relevant to Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Planning.
