Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Business Analyst to join our client's team. As a key member of the Operational Resilience team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's operational resilience and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present complex data and regulatory information to senior management, providing clear and logical explanations of implications and risks.
  • Track and analyze regulatory communications and updates across EMEA, working with SMEs and end users to understand and document practical implications for associated systems and processes.
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand current practices and processes, including liaising with EMEA offices to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
  • Use data modeling practices to analyze findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements.
  • Communicate clearly within a multi-disciplinary team, gain consensus for the best solution, and implement required changes to maintain compliance with regulation and/or gain efficiencies.
  • Detail business requirements and regulatory technical specifications to support changes or new requirements.
  • Support and involve staff and teams in QA, testing, and delivery of changes, including helping to resolve issues.
  • Document and store BA artefacts for internal audit or regulatory oversight.
Requirements
  • Strong relationship-building skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Operational Resilience/DORA regulations and experience delivering projects in this space as a Business Analyst.
  • Knowledge of front-to-back office business processes and products.
  • Knowledge and experience of financial services, markets, and banking activities and the surrounding regulatory framework.
  • Prior experience of successfully delivering business and technology projects within financial services.
  • Experience of writing and supporting system testing (e.g., SIT and UAT testing).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow desirable.
  • Experience of regulatory change impacting banking systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience of participating in deadline-driven and/or systems project teams.
  • Experience of supporting the development of system training material.
  • Ability to take own initiative but also willing to support and take direction when working with a Project or Programme Manager.
