Job Description:

We are seeking an International Volunteer Coordinator to join our team as a Global Community Manager. This role involves leading the growth and engagement of our global communities, working collaboratively with internal teams and external volunteers.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies to meet the evolving needs of members and volunteers. This includes using data and feedback to measure the success of community initiatives and providing operational guidance to volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies
  • Use data and feedback to measure the success of community initiatives
  • Provide operational guidance to volunteers
  • Manage communications with branches and volunteer groups
  • Promote and support the adoption of our online community platform
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the visibility and impact of global community initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Communications, International Relations, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing community programs and volunteer engagement
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including a compressed working scheme, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, cycle to Work Scheme, season ticket loan, and regular team social events.
