About the Role


We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Customer Service Ambassador for Fine Food and Drink. This is a unique opportunity to work with award-winning Daylesford Organic, one of the most renowned farming estates and organic producers in the UK.


The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of cheese varieties, including familiarity with different types of cheeses, flavour profiles, textures, and optimal pairings. They will also be proficient in operating slicer machines, able to curate and present charcuterie boards with precision, and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene awareness.


As a key member of our retail team, you will provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries, offering expert recommendations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will also maintain the cleanliness and organization of retail areas, stock shelves, and replenish inventory while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.


You will operate cash registers efficiently, handle payments, returns, and exchanges accurately, and participate in merchandising efforts by contributing to product promotions and seasonal displays. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with customers and colleagues alike.


About the Salary


The salary for this role is £12.55 per hour, plus Tronc benefits. Working full-time hours, you can expect to start your shift at 5:30 am and finish at 9:00 pm, allowing for flexibility and variety in your schedule.
