We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Department, responsible for providing financial expertise and support to help us achieve our goals.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with timetable.
  • Oversee Proactis finance dashboard and ensure it accurately reports figures from SUN systems and Vision Q&A.
  • Review income and expenditure accounts against budget and raise appropriate accruals and prepayments.
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations at month end.
  • Prepare and post income journals across FE, WBL, and other sources of income.

Budgets and Forecasting:

  • Assist with Grwp's Planning and Budgeting process for Finance.
  • Update annual Staff Plans and Budget templates.
  • Prepare and post annual budget journals to update budget on Proactis for managers.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • 37 hours per week.
  • 32 days leave per annum, plus public holidays and 5 efficiency closure days.
  • Salary: £28,729.56 - £31,176.06 per annum.
