Powertrain Engineer

In the pursuit of competing for F1 World Championships, Alpine Racing seeks to expand its team with dedicated professionals who can contribute significantly to our relentless drive for excellence. As part of the Powertrain Group, we have an opening for a Powertrain Design Engineer within our Engineering Office in Enstone.

This position will involve technical expertise in designing complex hydraulic systems and components, applying data-driven decision making to achieve optimal performance while considering factors such as mass and parasitic losses. Responsibilities include creating detailed hydraulic schematics, identifying and resolving system issues, selecting suitable materials, and choosing hydraulic components like QDs, solenoids, and servovalves. You will also develop test procedures and ensure timely delivery of reliable parts meeting all aerodynamic and mechanical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, particularly in hydraulics, and experience working with CAD software like Catia V5/3DX. Practical skills in hydraulics and a hands-on approach will be valuable assets for this role. Great teamwork and attention to detail are essential qualities for success.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, complemented by a range of benefits including BUPA medical and dental, private pension, bonus scheme, and more.
