Warehouse Operations Manager
Food Importer & Wholesaler

Location: Near Waltham Cross
Salary: DOE - £45K to £55K
Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Warehouse Manager to join a leading food importer and wholesaler. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 15 staff on the day shift and 18 staff on the night shift, as well as 2 shift managers in a multi-temperature warehouse.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for warehouse capacity planning, stock rotation, and minimising wastage. You will also oversee the maintenance of any warehouse-related vehicles and equipment, as well as the warehouse operations, including picking, day and night supervisors, goods in, security, cleaners, etc.

Your Skills & Experience
To be considered, you will need:

  1. Warehouse Management experience within a Food manufacturing environment.
  2. Team leadership and development skills. Strong people skills, approachable with excellent communication skills - written and verbal, ability to communicate at all levels.
  3. Ability to bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm into the warehouse.
  4. Good IT knowledge is essential, including SAP, Produmex, ability to learn quickly, and Excel (must know V-lookups and pivot tables).
  5. Knowledge of Forklifts & Reach.
