Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in Transthyretin Amyloidosis

Job Summary
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its team in providing exceptional care to patients with Transthyretin Amyloidosis (ATTR-CM). As a CNS, you will be responsible for coordinating nurse-led clinics, organizing the delivery and administration of specialist treatments, and coordinating research activity for the national caseload of patients with ATTR-CM.
Main Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will act as an expert in the disease area, providing a nurse-led service that includes coordination of specialized therapeutics and investigations, as well as an advisory service to patients and healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with this disease.

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with substantial post-registration experience in TTR amyloidosis and related diseases, as well as experience of managing patients with chronic health conditions. You should also have excellent communication skills, the ability to negotiate and influence, and be able to work under pressure.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a recognized teaching or mentorship qualification, a post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty, and advanced assessment skills. A Master's degree or willingness to work towards one is also desirable.
