About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation team at Nottingham CityCare Partnership CIC. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to adults in the community, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to support individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to support clients to improve or maintain their level of function and quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of the occupational therapy service.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Relevant postgraduate education and training in occupational therapy.
  • Experience of working in a community setting, preferably with adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy theories and models, with the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and evaluate treatment, with a focus on client-centered care.
