Early Years Education Support Worker

Role Overview
Randstad Education is assisting a Primary school in Batley in recruiting a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant. This role will involve working closely with the early years educators to plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
About the Role
This position requires someone with previous experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting. Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the early years educators in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Provide individualized support to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring that all children can fully participate in classroom activities.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate effectively with the early years team to assess children's progress and implement targeted interventions where necessary.
- Support children with personal care tasks such as toileting and dressing, in accordance with safeguarding guidelines.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on children's progress and development.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting.
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education, or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children.
